Aid trip May 2022
On the 14th of May 2022, in the evening, I drove for the first time to Ukraine, after the full scale invasion by ruzzia. First I went to a village in the west of Ukraine to meet up with my friend. Together we drove to Kyïv to meet Oresta, founder of the BON charity. Oresta showed us around in Bucha. That is an impression I will never forget.

After having spent a number of days in Kyïv, we drove on to Kobelyaky, Poltavska oblast, which was on the second line at the time. We brought supplies for defenders and for civilians. We also went to a nearby town to bring medical supplies and after spending a tense night with all these good people, it was time to say goodbye and head back to Kyïv.
After a short stop in Kyïv, we drove back to the west of Ukraine, to my friend's village. A few days later I drove back home, back to The Netherlands.
